Kelly Russo has 15+ years’ experience conducting due–diligence on alternative asset managers, specifically hedge funds and private equity funds. Kelly joined Kingdon Capital Management, LLC in 2017 and works closely with Rosemary Sagar, Chief Investment Officer, of Kingdon Advisory, to manage the investments of the Kingdon Foundation and charitable trusts for Mark Kingdon, founder and principal of Kingdon Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund established in 1983.

 

Prior to joining Kingdon, Ms. Russo was at private equity firm Crescent Capital Management LLC where she worked on the Mezzanine Credit team from 2014-2017. Prior to that, from 2007-2014, Kelly was at the London-based Fund of Hedge Funds, GAM USA, Inc., where she was an Investment Support Analyst on the multi-manager alternative investment solutions team. While at GAM, Ms. Russo focused on US Long/Short Equity and Event-Driven hedge fund strategies. Kelly began her career in 2006 as a Project Coordinator at Oppenheimer and Co., Inc. (formerly, CIBC ) 

 

Ms. Russo earned her B.A. in Psychology, Sociology from the University of Delaware in 2006
